Martin Crump is a life long resident of Mississippi. As a young man, he spent long hours working on the family farm in Monroe County, while also working for his father's construction company. During college, Martin was a surveyor technician with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He also served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve for eight years. During this time, Martin gladly participated in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. These experiences, his work ethic, and his public service drew him to a career of protecting individuals' rights. Martin's legal service to the community includes the areas of employment discrimination, civil rights litigation, and criminal defense. His current practice areas include nursing home neglect, medical malpractice, and medical devices litigation.

Martin attended and graduated from Mississippi State University. He attained Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Philosophy, with a minor in Religion. Martin received his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University. His memberships include the Mississippi Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, and the Harrison County Bar Association. Martin is currently licensed to practice law in the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, all state courts in Mississippi, the U.S. Court of Veteran's Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Martin is also licensed to practice law in Texas, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia.

Martin currently resides in Diamondhead, Mississippi with his wife, Latrisha, and their four children, Kaylee, Madison, Lillian Grace, and Zoe. He and his family attend Diamondhead Baptist Church. Martin enjoys golf, sport fishing, and he is an avid hunter.
